Christmas Sharing Tree
When you pick a star, please remember to wrap the gift, place the star ornament on the gift or bag. Remember all gifts are from “SANTA”. If you do not wish to pick a child’s name, you may donate a toy, just label it for a boy or girl and the age range. All gifts need to be handed in by Dec. 14th. Any gifts not handed in by the 14th , please bring it to the office. If you have a star, we need the gift, we do not want to disappoint any child. If you did not get a star, you can contact the parish office or you can buy a gift, wrap it and put a tag on it saying if it’s for a boy or a girl, and if it’s clothes, please put the size. Any questions, please call Peg, in the parish office. 410-648-5145.
Lectors and Sacristans Needed
Our parish is in dire need of more liturgical ministers especially Lectors and Sacristans.
Lectors proclaim the Word of God – scripture readings - at Mass, and the Lector also reads the Prayers of the Faithful. Lector Workbooks are available for practice and experienced Lectors may coach you if desired.
Sacristans open up our church for Mass and other services, set up the necessary items for use for the Mass, stand ready to assist the priest as needed and lock the church afterwards. Experienced Sacristans can train you and provide assistance to you as you learn.
Our parish needs you to consider coming forward to become a Lector and/or a Sacristan. Please contact the parish office if you are interested and want to learn more. Thank you.
